Hampta Pass

Hampta Pass Trek with Chandratal Lake is one of the most beautiful and adventurous treks in Himachal Pradesh, starting from Manali. The trek takes you through lush green valleys, pine forests, river crossings, snow-covered mountains, and high-altitude landscapes before ending near the stunning Chandratal Lake. Perfect for beginners and adventure lovers, this trek offers a unique experience of changing terrains and breathtaking Himalayan views

Day 1 | Manali to Jobra → Trek to Chika

• Drive from Manali to Jobra

• Begin trek through pine forests, streams & open meadows

• Reach Chika campsite by evening

• Overnight stay in camps

Day 2 | Chika to Balu Ka Ghera

• Trek along river streams and rocky mountain trails

• Enjoy changing landscapes and stunning valley views

• Reach Balu Ka Ghera campsite

• Overnight stay in camps

Day 3 | Balu Ka Ghera → Hampta Pass → Shea Goru

• Early morning trek towards Hampta Pass

• Cross the high-altitude pass with panoramic Himalayan views

• Descend towards Shea Goru campsite

• Overnight stay in camps

Day 4 | Shea Goru → Chatru → Chandratal Lake → Return to Chatru

• Trek down to Chatru

• Drive to the breathtaking Chandratal Lake (subject to road/weather conditions)

• Spend time exploring the serene lake surroundings

• Return to Chatru for overnight stay

Day 5 | Chatru to Manali

• Scenic drive back to Manali via Atal Tunnel

• Trip concludes with unforgettable mountain memories

Packing List - Have everything you need

• Back Pack (65L to 75L)

• Warm clothes (5–6 layers)

• 5–6 pairs of socks

• One pair of gloves

• 1 Warm Jacket

• 1 Pair Warm Cap

• Raincoat or Poncho

• Water Bottle (thermal water for the snow trek)

• Snacks like dry fruits, energy bars, candies, etc.
